Bio and experience 

Deborah is a personal finance editor and writer with a focus on real estate and mortgages. She is passionate about helping consumers understand how all facets of homeownership work and how to live their best financial lives.

Most recently, Deborah was director of communications at a national mortgage and financial services company where she established and scaled award-winning content and thought leadership programs. Previously, she held editorial roles at LendingTree, Bankrate, Nerdwallet and RE/MAX World Headquarters.

When she’s not editing or writing, Deborah is contemplating ideas for a novel, working out, riding horses, traveling, singing and spending time with her family.

Education

Deborah holds a bachelor’s degree in Journalism from the University of Florida and a master’s degree in Public Relations from Ball State University.
