Larry Phillips is a mortgage and real estate content writer with nearly 20 years of experience working in both industries. Larry’s years of real-world experience give readers a unique insight into how the home loan and real estate markets work.

Larry began his mortgage career in 2000 as a closing specialist and retail underwriter for Wells Fargo Home Mortgage. He later moved on to analyzing mortgage risk for companies including Morgan Stanley, Citigroup and UBS.

In 2010, Larry decided to take up writing and use his extensive experience to help people navigate the complex processes of the mortgage industry. Larry’s work has appeared in The Mortgage Reports, LendingTree, and Military.com.
