Janet Berry-Johnson is an authority on income taxes and small business accounting. Before leaving the accounting world to focus on freelance writing, she specialized in income tax consulting and compliance for individuals and small businesses.

Janet is passionate about helping people make sense of complicated tax, accounting and personal finance topics.

Previous experience

She lives in Omaha, Nebraska, with her husband, son, and rescue dog, Dexter. Outside of writing and talking tax, she enjoys reading, playing Mah Jongg, and being a sports mom.
